Pilot privacy notice
Privacy and candidate data notice
This notice explains how TALLO handles information during the prototype and pilot stage. It is written for transparency and must still be reviewed by a South African legal/privacy specialist before public launch.
Information collected
TALLO may collect account details, candidate profile information, suburb, work experience, salary range, transport availability, work preferences, skills, systems used, assessment attempts, assessment bands, introduction requests and audit events.
Information not required yet
During this prototype stage, candidates should not upload identity documents, payslips, exact home addresses, bank details, medical information or other sensitive documents.
Use of data
Data is used for controlled hiring introductions.
Candidate profiles: used to create anonymous employer-facing cards.
Assessment results: used to show basic skill signals and bands.
Introductions: used to manage candidate consent, employer requests and prior-contact declarations.
Audit events: used for security, dispute review, due diligence and platform integrity.
Candidate control
Candidates can make their profile inactive. A candidate may request removal from the pilot dataset by contacting the TALLO administrator.
Employer access
Employers should only see anonymous candidate cards until a controlled introduction process is followed. TALLO should not expose direct candidate contact information in employer browse mode.
Important limitation
This is a prototype privacy notice. It is not a substitute for a full POPIA-compliant privacy policy, operator agreement, data-retention policy, security policy or legal terms for commercial launch.
