Investor view
Proof-based hiring infrastructure for junior support roles.
TALLO is a South African talent marketplace for experienced junior admin and finance-support candidates, built around anonymous profiles, basic skills proof, consented introductions and audit-ready hiring records.
The wedge
Start with lower-cost, high-volume junior support hiring where employers still pay for manual screening, weak CV evidence and inefficient agency processes.
Candidate supply
Experienced junior admin and finance-support workers who can show basic work readiness through structured profiles and assessments.
Employer demand
South African employers that need affordable, credible hiring options below traditional agency pricing.
Control layer
Anonymous browse, candidate consent, prior-contact declarations and timestamped audit records reduce leakage and disputes.
Live demo sequence
Create a candidate, accept consent, complete profile and preview anonymous employer card.
Run a basic Excel, typing, admin accuracy or finance-admin assessment.
Review candidate profile and approve only clean, complete candidates for visibility.
Browse approved anonymous cards, request intro, then follow consent and prior-contact steps.
Why this can become valuable
The asset is not a website. It is a structured, proof-backed candidate graph.
Data asset: structured candidate profiles, skills signals, assessment bands and availability history.
Workflow moat: controlled unlock, prior-contact declaration and audit records create commercial defensibility.
Expansion path: start with admin and junior finance, then move into broader junior operations, call-centre, support and clerical hiring lanes.
Commercial model: low-friction per-hire fee, employer subscriptions later, and premium assessment/verification layers over time.
Current build status
Investor-demo ready, not full public launch.
The platform has live auth, candidate profile capture, assessment attempts, employer browse, intro requests, admin review and audit events. It still requires stronger production hardening before open public intake.
Next funding use
Turn the prototype into a commercial pilot.
Funds should go into security review, POPIA legal review, assessment quality, employer pilot acquisition, candidate acquisition, dashboard analytics and payment/fee workflow.
